CLG have surprised EnVyUs with a strong 16-8 performance on Cobblestone in group C of MLG Columbus 2016. As MLG Columbus passed the first half of the day, it was time for Envy and CLG in the first match of group C on Cobblestone. The Frenchmen started off strong with a 3-0 after winning the pistol and a couple of anti-ecos, one of which ended up with Kenny "kennyS" Schrub clutching a 1-on-2. The first gunround went CLG's way however, as well as the following anti-forcebuy.
One round on Envy' side was traded for three on CLG's, who won a solid forcebuy, a 1-on-2 clutch featuring Tarik "tarik" Celik, and a 2-on-3 clutch featuring Stephen "reltuC" Cutler. Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer's team replied with three of their own, as the Americans were on bad economy. A powerful defence towards the end meant CLG would go over with solid seven rounds, and soon they took the lead for the second time after winning the pistol, for 10-8. tarik and reltuC spearheaded their way through the B bombsite with ease, putting their team up on 12-8 after another gunround and an anti-eco. A swift entry into the A bombsite forced EnVyUs to save four weapons, but it was all for naught as CLG stormed their way to victory without dropping a round on the Terrorist side. MLG Columbus 2016Best of 1 Next up in Columbus is the other initial round's battle of group C between Astralis and Gambit. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
